pertext turns its clients’ texts into fluently readable manuscripts. In addition to editing publications, it also assumes responsibility for their composition and design, and arranges for their publication.
Besides further developing pertext’s digital branding, Pixel Saloon conceived and designed the company’s corporate website, and remains responsible for the creative direction of its image content.

BRAND CONSULTING AND UI DESIGN
In a workshop with the client, we first worked together to identify the company’s core values. Our goal then became to clearly communicate these values and core competencies. In addition, we strove to better highlight showcased projects, in order to more clearly illustrate the services offered. Above all, however, we aimed to communicate the service provider’s professionalism and extensive experience.
pertext’s target group consists mainly of political foundations and scientific publishers. Therefore, the new look should come across as fresh, modern, and solid.
We developed a visual concept for the core competencies of “Editing,” “Composition and Design,” and “Project Management.” The individual header-images convey pertext’s editorial clarity and professionalism. The motifs used are abstract objects, related to the field of corporate publishing.
The composition of the images was determined in advance, with a set of precise sketches, which served to prepare the photographer.
The company experienced a significant increase in value due to the redesign of its corporate website. pertext’s customers regard the company’s new look as both modern and professional.
